Greetings from Bangkok

We made it! After our convocation, grad, and a 30+ hour journey from Calgary to Bangkok (with flight delays), we are finally here. but instead of sleeping in and catching up om sleep, we had an action packed day including seeing the Golden Palace, riding a boat along the Bangkok River, eating freshly made Pad Thai on Koh San Road, bargaining for some souvenirs, and sampling native fruits and other foods in China town ie. Rambutan and mangosteen! KE even tried her first fried eel! It is 40 degrees celsius here with ++ humidity. Thank goodness both hostels we've been to so far have air con. We would write more but 2 of the 3 of us have already fallen asleep while writing this post. Tomorrow we'll be in Koh Phi Phi. Will post more then! EGF
